With no husband, no money, and a flamboyant lifestyle what hope did she have of meeting the adoptive parents’ stringent guidelines? Her only assets were courage, persistence, and determination. The possibility of royalties from a book she planned to write, about her Vietnam experiences, offered the only real glimmer of hope. Can she find a husband and become an acceptable adoptive parent? About the Author:

Junie Moon, otherwise known as June Collins, has had a colorful life. After starting out as a dancer, she landed in Vietnam during the war years. The needless deaths she had witnessed took away the laughter for quite a while until she found the road to recovery. It was then she decided that she had to help one of the many orphans she had seen begging on the streets of Asia. She believes that in today’s affluent society, there should be no homeless children begging on the streets anywhere.
